Orton Group in Wolverhampton is seeking a skilled New Build Electrician to join our growing team on new construction projects. You will install, test, and commission electrical systems to the highest standards, reading blueprints and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Applicants must hold an ECS Gold Card, be fully qualified electricians, and possess effective communication to coordinate with project teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold an ECS Gold Card and be a fully qualified electrician.
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission electrical wiring and systems in new builds.
• Read and interpret drawings and wiring diagrams for precise installations.
• Conduct maintenance checks to ensure ongoing safety and compliance.
• Coordinate with project managers and other trades to meet schedules.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and compliance records.
