Job summary

Orton Group in Wolverhampton is seeking a motivated New Build Electrician to join our team for high-quality electrical installations on new construction projects. You will install, test, and commission wiring and systems, reading drawings and ensuring safety and compliance throughout the build.

Collaborate with project managers and other trades to keep schedules on track, maintain thorough records, and deliver exceptional workmanship that meets client expectations.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE ECS GOLD CARD : PLEASE NOTE : ONLY FULLY QUALIFIED ELECTRICIANS PLEASE APPLY.
• Proven electrical experience with a strong understanding of wiring, circuitry, and electrical components in new builds
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering quality work that meets client expectations

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in new construction sites according to project specifications and safety standards
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to execute precise installations
• Conduct maintenance checks on electrical systems during the build process to ensure ongoing safety and compliance
• Collaborate closely with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and resolve technical issues promptly
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and compliance records
