Job summary

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Ellesmere Port is seeking a part-time Band 3 Therapy Assistant to join the Community Neurotherapy Team. You will support delivery of occupational therapy and physiotherapy plans for patients with neurological rehabilitation needs in the community and outpatient settings.

Training is provided with supervision from registered therapists, and there are opportunities to develop within a supportive multidisciplinary team, aligned with RLW pay

Qualifications

• Healthcare exposure is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and teamwork within multidisciplinary settings.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a registered therapist to carry out daily therapeutic interventions.
• Implement patient treatment plans written by registered therapists.
• Observe patients individually or in groups and report observations to therapists.
• Accurately record interventions electronically using the in-house system.
• Attend clinical supervision and participate in ongoing training and staff meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality in line with Trust policy.
• Be flexible to community and outpatient clinic settings.
