The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Ward Manager for Dott Ward, a 27-bed Neurosurgical unit, to lead and develop nursing practice and deliver high-quality, patient- and family-centred care. The role involves 24-hour ward responsibility, with support from Clinical Matron and Lead Nurse, and a focus on service improvement.

Qualifications

• First level Registered Nurse (Adult) with relevant diploma/degree or equivalent experience.
• Recognised teaching/mentorship qualification.
• Basic life support and extended clinical skills required.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical leadership on the ward and drive high-quality, patient- and family-centred care.
• Hold 24-hour responsibility for the ward team with support from Senior Nursing leadership.
• Act as clinical expert and resource to multidisciplinary teams and families.
• Ensure adherence to Trust policies and procedures and lead on resource management.
