Our service is expanding with a new second biplane neurointerventional suite, providing life-changing care for patients in Oxfordshire and surrounding counties. We currently have two full-time band 6 nurse vacancies. The role includes on-call work during nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
We are a friendly team of nurses, radiographers, radiologists, and radiology assistants committed to high standards of care. The specialty offers diverse and interesting learning opportunities. Your role involves working as a scrub or circulating nurse in angiography suites and caring for our day-case patients.
This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality, 1-to-1 patient care. Previous experience in theatre, interventional radiology, neurosciences, or stroke care is desirable but not essential. You will receive mentorship and a competency training package during your first six months.
Flexible shift patterns are available from Monday to Sunday, 7 am to 8 pm. On-call shifts are from 8 pm to 7 am, Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays. Participation in the on-call rota is required once sufficient experience and competency are achieved.
