This is an exciting time to join the Interventional Neuroradiology team at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford! Our service is expanding with plans for a second biplane neurointerventional suite. We provide life-changing care for patients within Oxfordshire and surrounding counties. We have two full-time band nurse vacancies. This role includes on-call work during nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
• We are a friendly team of nurses, radiographers, radiologists, and radiology assistants delivering high standards of care.
• The specialty's varied nature means there's always something new to learn.
• Your role involves working as a scrub or circulating nurse in our angiography suites, as well as admitting and caring for day case patients.
• Previous experience in theatre, interventional radiology, neurosciences, or stroke is desirable but not essential. Support will be provided through mentorship and training.
• Flexible shift patterns are available from Monday to Sunday, with on-call duties from the afternoon to morning, including all bank holidays. Participation in the on-call rota is required once sufficient experience and competence are achieved.
