Job summary

Priory Group's Notts Hill House in Torquay offers specialist neurological rehabilitation and residential support for adults with ABI, TBI, stroke and related conditions. This permanent, full-time role pays £13.45 per hour and supports short- to long-term placements tailored to individual goals.

You will join a compassionate team, assist with personal care and daily living tasks, encourage participation in activities, keep accurate records, and work with qualified staff to promote independence

Qualifications

• Caring and respectful approach to supporting others.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to upholding professional standards and procedures.
• Experience with Learning Difficulties / Autism / Epilepsy is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks.
• Encourage and assist participation in activities and community life.
• Support service users in achieving their personal outcomes in the way they choose.
• Maintain accurate records, care plans, charts, and daily notes.
• Build positive relationships with service users, families, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Uphold safety, security, and confidentiality in line with policies and regulations.
• Act as a key worker for individuals, helping them to set goals and track progress.
• Promote choice, independence, and involvement at all times.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing ideas and suggestions.
• Working with the team to support residents to "Live Their Life" as independently as possible
