Job summary

The Oakleaf Group is seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join our busy multidisciplinary therapy team. Based in Hartwell, Northampton, you will work within brain injury and neurological rehabilitation to deliver assessments, treatment programmes and progress reports.

You will collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Nursing to promote mobility, balance and wellbeing. A recognised qualification and registration are essential, with a focus on person-centred

Qualifications

• A recognised Physiotherapy qualification and relevant professional registration.
• Experience in neurological rehabilitation and acquired brain injury is preferred.
• Excellent communication, assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently.
• Positive, enthusiastic and person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and identify rehabilitation needs.
• Devise, implement and regularly review resident-specific physiotherapy treatment programmes.
• Provide exercise programmes to promote mobility, strength, balance and physical wellbeing.
• Monitor progress and document outcomes.
• Produce high-quality assessment and progress reports.
• Present physiotherapy updates and recommendations at multidisciplinary and resident review meetings.
• Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychology, Nursing and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Support care and therapy staff to promote consistent implementation of physiotherapy programmes.
• Contribute to a positive culture of rehabilitation, health, fitness and wellbeing across the service.
