Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a Band 7 Physiotherapy Team Lead to oversee the neurological community physiotherapy service across Lothian. The role involves directing clinical governance, team leadership, and service development to maximise independence and outcomes for patients in homes, clinics, and virtual settings.

Hours are 18 per week with pro-rata salary. The post requires a Degree in Physiotherapy with post-graduate clinical and leadership experience; interviews will be in person.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy with post graduate clinical and leadership knowledge.
• Experience in leading a multidisciplinary team and service improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team and stakeholders.
• Willingness to work in a part-time arrangement with pro-rata salary.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and strategic leadership for the neurological community physiotherapy service.
• Drive service development, innovation, and continuous improvement across Lothian.
• Collaborate with Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners and the wider MDT.
