Isle of Wight Council is seeking a Neurodiversity Support Adviser/Worker to help schools, families and professionals promote inclusive, strengths-based support for neurodivergent children and young people. You will work with educational settings to implement evidence-informed, child-centred approaches, including those with emerging neurodivergent profiles.
The role is 37 hours per week, term-time plus 4 weeks, with office-based work and hybrid/remote options across educational settings and

This role is office-based; however, it also offers some agile or remote working (including hybrid working across educational settings, Family Hubs, Council offices and home working)

We are seeking a Neurodiversity Support Adviser/Worker to join our developing Neurodiversity Support Team within Education Services. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape support for neurodivergent children and young people, including those with emerging neurodivergent profiles, ensuring they can thrive both at home and in education settings regardless of diagnosis status.
Working closely with schools, families and partner agencies, you will provide advice, training and practical support that enables educational settings to meet the needs of neurodivergent learners through child-centred, evidence-informed and neuro-affirming approaches.
