Job summary

Autism Plus in North Yorkshire is recruiting an Employment Support Advisor to help adults and young people with autism and related conditions move towards sustainable paid employment. You will work within the Employment Service as part of a team, delivering frontline interventions in the community.

The role requires proactive, flexible approaches, travel across North Yorkshire, building relationships with employers, housing, social care, and DWP partners to remove barriers and support

Qualifications

• Experience working with neurodivergent individuals preferred.
• Ability to travel across North Yorkshire.
• Commitment to person-centred support and empowerment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans for individuals.
• Engage employers to create job opportunities.
• Support customers to progress toward paid employment.
• Maintain records in line with Autism Plus policies.
• Build trusted relationships with individuals to boost confidence.
