Job summary

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Specialist Nurse (Independent / Supplementary Prescriber) to join the Neurodevelopmental Pathway for ASD and ADHD services.

You will work with children and families across Birmingham in a MDT, liaising with education and social care to provide safe, evidence-based assessments and prescribing within clinical governance. This role is full-time and permanent.

Qualifications

• Nurse qualified and registered with NMC.
• Experience in neurodevelopmental services for children.
• Ability to work autonomously within MDT and across agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead preliminary assessments for new referrals using agreed tools.
• Act as Advanced Nurse Prescriber for ADHD medicines.
• Collaborate with CAMHS, schools, and families to support care.
• Maintain clinical records and participate in governance and audits.
