Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Band 6 Clinician to undertake ADHD and Autism assessments for young people on our waiting list. You will take developmental histories and prepare comprehensive assessment reports for discussion in weekly MDTs.

To conducted ADHD assessments in line with NICE guidance. Complete developmental history taking. Being able to complete detailed Assessment reports and discuss findings in our weekly MDT meeting. desirable is qualifications for autism assessment including ADOS and ADI-R. Meeting with families to provide feedback following assessment. Risk and safeguarding knowledge. Organised and able to maintain clear clinical documentation. Ability to work as part of a team.
Working in a busy neurodevelopmental team you will be working with a range of professionals including Psychiatry, Psychology and Nursing backgrounds. We have regular team meetings and supervision. Training is provided for QB Testing and understanding ADHD assessment process.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Band 6 Clinician from Nursing, OT, SLT or social work backgrounds to join our team in providing ADHD assessment. If you have a background in Autism awareness or training that includes ADOS and/or ADI-R this is desirable. Training will be provided in completing QB testing as part of ADHD assessment process. You will be responsible for meeting with young people and their families and conducting developmental history taking as part of your role. Recording accurate and detailed clinical documentation is essential. You will attend weekly MDT meetings to discuss the outcome of assessments and complete assessment reports. Being able to liaise with other professionals where needed. Being confident in risk assessment and personalised care planning as part of your role and to record and make referrals when indicated.
