Job summary

Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust's North Somerset child and adolescent mental health team is a well-established multidisciplinary service offering innovative approaches and extensive CPD opportunities across two sites in Weston-super-Mare and Clevedon.

The successful candidate will join the leadership team to assess and treat children, adolescents and families with complex mental health needs, with a preference for accredited CBT, EMDR or Family Therapy training.

Qualifications

• Accredited CBT/EMDR/Family Therapist preferred.
• Experience in clinical risk assessment and management with children and young people.
• Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assessments and provide treatment for children and young people with complex mental health needs.
• Provide leadership within the team and collaborate with partner agencies.
• Support flexible working patterns and development opportunities.
