Job summary

Evolve Psychology Services Ltd. is hiring a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to conduct comprehensive assessments for autism and ADHD in children and young people.

You will contribute to diagnostic decision-making within a multidisciplinary team and provide clear feedback to families. You’ll work in a hybrid model with both NHS-funded and private pathways, using advanced tools and reporting systems to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective support for families.

Qualifications

• Registered with one or more UK regulatory bodies (HCPC, NMC, GMC or Social Work England).
• Experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children/young people.
• Strong knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for autism/ADHD.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2 and ADI-R.
• Excellent written reports and compassionate communication with families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of neurodevelopmental assessments.
• Conduct remote developmental history interviews via Zoom with parents/caregivers.
• Participate in MDT diagnostic discussions with senior clinicians.
• Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families.
• Produce accurate clinical reports with diagnostic formulations using smart tools.
• Meet service KPIs and contribute to supervision where applicable.
• Travel to clinic bases for in-person assessments (hybrid role).
