Job summary

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) is seeking a dedicated Assistant Psychologist to support neurodevelopmental assessments and ASD/ADHD work within the CYPAAS team. You will be involved in observations, assessments, and therapeutic activities under supervision, contributing to research and service development across Northamptonshire.

The role requires travel across the county, a good Honours degree in Psychology (1st or high 2:1), and experience with children and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as an assistant psychologist.
• Interest in ASD/ADHD and working with young people.
• Full driving licence and own transport essential for county travel.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to neurodevelopmental assessments and observations.
• Assist with research activities under supervision of a Clinical Psychologist.
• Develop clinical skills in group and individual work.
• Travel across Northamptonshire to support service delivery.
