Livewell Southwest in Plymouth is seeking a substantive consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine to lead and develop the community neuro-rehabilitation service. The role covers neurological rehab, spasticity management, and intrathecal baclofen services with a potential rotation across community, inpatient, and stroke rehab.

Applicants should have GMC Specialist Register in Rehabilitation Medicine or be within six months of CCT at interview, and display a strong interest in service development and

Qualifikationen

• MRCP (UK) or equivalent.
• GMC Specialist Register in Rehabilitation Medicine or within six months of CCT at interview.
• Broad experience in rehabilitation medicine with an interest in neurological rehabilitation.
• Experience in clinical audit and service development.

Aufgaben

• Lead and develop the community neuro-rehabilitation service.
• Deliver specialist rehabilitation to people with neurological conditions.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team across the rehabilitation pathway.
• Contribute to community neuro-rehabilitation clinics and spasticity/intrathecal baclofen services.
• Rotate every 12 months across community neuro-rehab, inpatient neurological rehab and stroke rehab (if on rotation).
