Job summary
Livewell Southwest, Plymouth, invites applications for a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine to lead our Community Neuro-Rehabilitation service. The role sits within an integrated network across community, inpatient and specialist services in Plymouth, with opportunities to participate in spasticity management, intrathecal baclofen, spinal rehab and service development.
The post offers a rotational option across three services, allowing broad clinical exposure and professional development
Qualifications
- Broad experience in rehabilitation medicine with a focus on neurological rehabilitation.
- Commitment to multidisciplinary team working, service development, and continuing professional development.
- Training and wide experience in rehabilitation medicine.
- GMC registration and MRCP (UK) or equivalent are essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Community Neuro-Rehabilitation service.
- Rotate across Community Neuro-Rehab, Inpatient Neurological Rehab (Level 2a), and Stroke Rehab.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to strengthen the rehab pathway and support service development.
