Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Millwood Unit in Nottingham to lead nursing care for residents with brain injury and neurological conditions. You will provide assessments, care planning and multidisciplinary support to help residents progress toward discharge.

The role requires current NMC Pin registration, UK work rights and neurorehabilitation experience. The post offers flexible shifts within a 24-hour service and a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• NMC Pin registration required (RGN).
• Legal right to work in the UK required.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Tracheostomy care essential.
• Experience in neurorehabilitation settings essential.
• Experience with neuro conditions and MDT involvement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as Primary Nurse and lead nursing input for residents.
• Contribute to MDT working, risk assessments and clinical improvement.
• Produce written nursing reports for statutory and review processes.
• Follow NMC Code of Professional Conduct as named nurse.
• Support patients to achieve planned outcomes within a team.
• Ensure comprehensive, person-centred assessments and care plans.
• Take charge of a designated clinical area and maintain high-quality records.
• Provide a highly specialised range of interventions relevant to neuro patients.
