Job summary

BT Group is seeking a Networks Data Analytics Specialist to transform complex data into insights that influence network performance and customer experience. You will work with data scientists, engineers and product teams to deliver analytics solutions across BT’s networks.

You will build dashboards, perform advanced analytics and communicate findings to senior stakeholders, while exploring opportunities to automate and scale analytics across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience performing exploratory data analysis at enterprise scale using statistical techniques (e.g., clustering, regression, PCA).
• Strong SQL capability and experience with large, complex datasets, data modelling and statistical analysis in a commercial setting.
• Experience creating dashboards and visualisations and communicating findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends and opportunities within large-scale datasets.
• Transform complex business questions into actionable insights for strategic decisions.
• Build analytics products, dashboards and visualisations to enable stakeholder understanding and action.
• Analyse customer, network and operational data to improve performance and customer experience.
• Apply statistical techniques such as clustering, regression and significance testing to solve business challenges.
• Gather, integrate, cleanse and analyse data from multiple sources to ensure reliable reporting.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists and business stakeholders to deliver analytics solutions.
• Communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Support automation and continuous improvement of analytics processes.
