Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Ipswich is seeking a Network Test Automation Engineer to design and implement automated testing for complex networking platforms. You will work on validating networking products, automating test cases, and integrating tests into CI/CD workflows.

The role requires hands-on experience with network protocols, Robot Framework, Python, and GitLab CI/CD, plus Linux/Unix familiarity. You will collaborate with Development, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to improve test

Qualifications

Hands-on experience validating networking products and services.
Experience automating test cases for network systems.
Proficient in Robot Framework automation.
Strong scripting in Python.
Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitLab.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test plans for networking platforms.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Python.
Validate network protocols, configurations, and connectivity.
Integrate automated test suites into GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Perform functional, regression, system, integration, and performance testing.
Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and collaborate with Development, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams.
Execute and monitor automated testing during release cycles.
Prepare test reports, defect analysis, and quality metrics.
Contribute to test framework enhancements and automation best practices.
