Job Description:

This role is ideal for a Senior Technician with extensive hosted VoIP knowledge, familiar with cloud-based communications solutions, experience in both fixed and mobile telecoms, wireless configuration, and an understanding of the challenges faced by businesses regarding telecoms and connectivity.

The role also offers an opportunity to develop into leading the fixed support team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for technical support, configuration, installation, and maintenance of customer products and services.

Requirements

• Full Clean UK Drivers licence

Experience and Technical Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a technical support or installation technician role in the telecoms industry
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience configuring routers, network switches, access points, etc.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in Hosted VoIP
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in networking and Wi-Fi
• Experience dealing with third-party service providers
• Experience using MS Office and working on a CRM system
• Experience working with Gamma
• Experience working with TP-Link, Draytek, etc., managed hardware

Skills required:

• Strong communication skills – good telephone manner and the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing professionally
• Professional presentation with a flexible, positive attitude
• Good proactive problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand customer needs and consider them when making decisions
