Job summary

Guildhall School of Music & Drama is seeking an experienced Network & Systems Manager to lead the Digital, Production & Venue Support team. You will oversee the School's recording, broadcast and AV networks, including a large low‑latency audio network, Dante Domain Manager and NDI video distribution, across multiple venues and teaching spaces.

You will diagnose issues, document processes, and drive improvements while collaborating with engineers, academics and students to shape future workflows

Qualifications

• Experience with professional audio, video or broadcast systems.
• Strong understanding of IP networking in media environments.
• A networking qualification such as CCNA is useful but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day operational responsibility for recording, broadcast and AV systems and networks.
• Develop and maintain a reliable, high‑performance digital infrastructure across venues and teaching spaces.
• Collaborate with engineers, academics and students to create efficient production workflows.
• Diagnose problems, document findings and implement improvements for resilience.
• Engage with manufacturers, integrators and colleagues to stay aligned with industry practice.
