Job summary

Guildhall School of Music and Drama is seeking an experienced Network & Systems Manager to lead the DPVS environment, covering recording, broadcast and AV systems across multiple venues. The role combines hands-on maintenance with long‑term development of a resilient digital infrastructure.

You will work closely with engineers, venue teams and academic staff to support performances, teaching and research, ensuring systems are reliable, well‑documented and scalable for future needs.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with professional audio, video or broadcast systems.
• Strong understanding of IP networking in media environments.
• Ability to explain complex technology clearly and work with students.
• Willingness to work some evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day operational responsibility for network and systems.
• Maintain and develop infrastructure across studios, theatres and venues.
• Collaborate with engineers, academics, and central IT.
• Lead on production workflows and new technologies.
