Job Title: Network Support Manager – Gas

Location: Based in Guernsey (Our client is looking for someone based in the UK to relocate)

Our client, a leading provider of safe, reliable, and sustainable gas and energy solutions, is seeking a Network Support Manager to oversee the safe control of operations across Gas networks and operational sites in Guernsey. This role ensures the highest standards of safety and compliance, focusing on network integrity, capital projects, and accurate record keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Gas Safe Operations Oversight: Coordinate activities, manage impacts, and resolve conflicts affecting safety and supply.
2. Gas Distribution Compliance & Competency: Maintain registers, validate qualifications, and ensure audit completion.
3. Gas Distribution Operational Control: Record and monitor operations, ensuring procedural integrity.
4. Gas Distribution Asset Integrity Support: Support risk reduction strategies and network integrity decisions.
5. Operational Oversight & Data Management: Manage network modelling, odour monitoring, and maintain digital records.
6. Team & Service Delivery: Manage technical staff and deliver objectives set by leadership.

We seek an experienced Gas Distribution Support Manager willing to relocate from the UK to Guernsey.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in engineering or 5+ years’ experience in the gas industry
• Experience with Safe Control of Operations (SCO)
• 5+ years in operations or asset management
• Familiarity with GIS and UK Gas Safety Regulations
• Gas Safe Registered Engineer
• Results-oriented with high standards
• High integrity, adaptable, able to manage pressure
• Self-starter with a flexible approach
• Full driving license and pass police check
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (UK)
• Experience with Gas network modelling tools
• Background in risk management and asset replacement
• Knowledge of COMAH and meter asset management
