Job summary

Dunelm is seeking a data-driven professional to join our supply chain analytics team in Stoke. You will model and analyse network strategies, forecast capacity and evaluate distribution and transport options to improve service levels and reduce costs.

The role emphasizes building dashboards, communicating insights to stakeholders, and partnering with multiple functions to drive continuous improvement and future growth.

Qualifications

  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, network planning or a similar analytical environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data and identify insights.
  • Advanced Excel and experience with analytical tools like Power BI or SQL.
  • Good understanding of warehouse operations, transport networks and fulfilment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and continuous improvement of our supply chain network strategy through detailed analysis and modelling.
  • Conduct network modelling and scenario analysis to evaluate distribution, fulfilment and transport strategies.
  • Analyse operational and commercial data to identify opportunities to improve network performance and cost.
  • Support strategic network design projects with data collection, forecasting and recommendations.
  • Develop capacity forecasts and analyse growth plans for long-term planning.
  • Monitor network utilisation and identify capacity constraints across warehouse and transport operations.
  • Create reports, dashboards and performance metrics showing key network trends.
  • Produce financial, operational and sensitivity analyses to support business cases and investments.
  • Evaluate automation solutions and emerging fulfilment technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate assumptions and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Present analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and transformation initiatives for future growth.

Salary: £47,000 - 87,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, network planning, business analytics or a similar analytical environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify actionable insights.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using analytical tools such as Power BI, SQL or similar platforms.
  • A good understanding of warehouse operations, transport networks and fulfilment processes.
  • Experience building forecasts, models, business cases or scenario-based analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to analysing data and drawing conclusions.
  • The ability to communicate complex information in a simple and engaging way to a variety of stakeholders.
