Network Security Engineer / Security Consultant (Cybersecurity) – Remote
This is a fully remote / full-time position.
Salary £65–80k
This is a field-based role covering the UK. (It is estimated that you will be away from home 50% of the time)

My client is a leading cybersecurity solutions provider and value-added reseller, partnering with top vendors like Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Juniper Networks. They are looking for a Professional Services Engineer to deliver high-impact security implementations for their clients.
The Role:
As a Professional Services Engineer, you’ll be the technical authority, designing, configuring, and deploying enterprise-grade security solutions for clients across industries. You’ll lead end-to-end projects, from pre-sales consultancy to hands-on implementation, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer—ensuring clients get maximum value from their security investments.
What You’ll Do:
Deploy & optimise security solutions (Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper)
Lead client implementations, migrations, and upgrades (remote & on-site)
Collaborate with sales/pre-sales teams to scope and propose technical solutions
Develop high-quality documentation (designs, runbooks, guides)
Provide advanced troubleshooting & performance tuning
Stay ahead of emerging threats, vendor updates, and security trends
Conduct client training & knowledge transfer sessions
Skills You’ll Need:
3+ years in Professional Services, Network Security Engineering, or similar
Hands-on expertise in at least two of:
Deep knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, routing/switching, cloud security
Bonus if you have:
? Experience with SOAR/SIEM, scripting (Python/Bash), or cloud security (AWS/Azure)
? ITIL, PMP, or cloud security certifications
