Job summary

Stats Perform is seeking a Network Engineer to join its global tech team in London. The role involves designing and documenting networking solutions, building resilient topologies, and delivering hands-on deployments across data centers and office sites.

You will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders, contribute to IaC and automation, and participate in an on-call rotation. The ideal candidate brings strong routing, switching, and security experience in enterprise networks.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching architectures.
• Proficient with Cisco Nexus switches and Fortinet firewalls.
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and version control (Git).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with more senior engineers to analyze technical requirements.
• Contribute to design discussions and produce detailed Low-Level Designs (LLDs), network diagrams, and standard technical documentation.
• Review existing network topologies, identify single points of failure, and design resilient solutions upon business approval.
• Deliver end-to-end hands-on execution across the full network lifecycle—from BAU to provisioning, rack-and-stack, migrations, remotely and on-site at offices and data centers.
• Contribute to and maintain IaC frameworks.
• Provide tier-3 troubleshooting and packet analysis for critical issues; participate in on-call rota per ITIL standards.
• Work closely with engineering, systems administrators, and business stakeholders.

• Collaborate with more senior engineers to analyze technical requirements;
• contribute to design discussions and produce detailed Low-Level Designs (LLDs), network diagrams, and standard technical documentation.
• Review existing network topologies continuously, identify single points of failure, and design and integrate resilient solutions upon business approval.
• Deliver end-to-end hands-on execution across the full network lifecycle—from day-to-day BAU operational support, configuration changes, and maintenance to hardware provisioning, rack-and-stack, commissioning, and migrations, both remotely and on-site at local offices and data center facilities.
• Contribute to and maintain the team's network automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) frameworks.
• Provide tier-3 troubleshooting and packet analysis for critical issues;
• participate in the team's on-call rota adhering to ITIL standards.
• Work closely with engineering peers, systems administrators, and business stakeholders.

Требования

• Solid hands-on experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, PBR, VRF) and switching architectures (VPC, STP, 802.1Q).
• Strong proficiency with Cisco Nexus switches.
• Solid understanding and operational experience with Multicast protocols (PIM, IGMP).
• Hands-on experience configuring and managing Fortinet (FortiGate) firewalls and enterprise VPN technologies (IPsec site-to-site, remote access).
• Practical hands-on experience with Application Delivery Controllers such as F5 BIG-IP, A10 Networks, or Radware Alteon.
• Experience working with automation frameworks (Ansible, Terraform) and version control (Git).
• Proven troubleshooting capabilities, including packet capture and traffic analysis.
• Experience with Network Monitoring Systems (NMS) such as Zabbix or SolarWinds.
