Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts who are proud of their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical tasks to maintain the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:
  1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
  2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  3. Action Service Requests.
  4. Allocate and dispatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
  5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  6. Organize traffic management, coordinating with providers, regional control, and field teams.
  7. Update customers on network incidents.
  8. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.
Who you are:

Experienced in supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across all levels of seniority.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
