Job summary

Palletforce is seeking a Network Control Tower Administrator to monitor freight through the network from our Burton hub. You will resolve depot disputes, serve as a key contact for the Network Operations field team, and support data production for the Network Team.

The role is office-based with Monday–Friday days and a 30-minute break. The ideal candidate has customer service experience, logistics exposure, and proficient Excel skills, and you will be expected to work collaboratively while

Responsibilities

• Manage queries into the team and ensure prompt, accurate and valuable response.
• Monitor specific depots customers freight through the Network to ensure they’re delivering successfully.
• Resolve disputes between depots quickly and efficiently while maintaining customer service.
• Be a point of contact for the Network Operations field team.
• Assist with the production of data and information for the Network Team.
• Carry out duties with due regard to health and safety for yourself and others.
• On occasion assist with the booking in of Amazon consignments.

Job description

THE ROLE:

Join us as a Network Control Tower Administrator within our Network Operations Team. This will involve monitoring customers freight successfully through the Network and dealing with depots consignments and issues on a daily basis. You will also work with the Network Operations field team working as a point of a contact be there any issues to resolve between depots.

OFFICE BASED

You will be based at our hub which is based in Burton (DE14 2SY).

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

• Manage queries into the team and ensure prompt, accurate and valuable response
• Monitor specific depots customers freight through the Network to ensure they’re delivering successfully
• Problem solving to ensure disputes between depots is resolved quickly and efficiently whilst maintaining the customers service
• Being a point of contact for the Network Operations field team
• Assist with the production of data and information for the Network Team
• To carry out all your duties and responsibilities with reasonable care for your own health & safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work.
• Any other adhoc duties as and when required by the GM
• To be polite and professional at all times, being aware of the environment you work in.
• On occasion assist with the booking in of Amazon consignments

• Customer Service experience is ideal
• Logistics experience is desirable
• Capable on Microsoft Excel

• Able to work as an effective team player, supporting and recognising the need for support wherever appropriate and be able to work on own initiative.
• Build and maintain positive external relationships internally within the team, member depots and other Palletforce staff.
