Job summary

MyDentist, the UK’s leading dental network, is hiring a Network Infrastructure Engineer on a full-time 18-month fixed-term contract. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with our Support Centre in Kearsley, M26 1GG, and free onsite parking nearby.

You will design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure security, scalability, and reliability across the enterprise. Experience with O365, Entra (Azure AD), Cisco/Meraki networking, and Nutanix storage is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft O365 and Entra (Azure AD).
• Working knowledge of Cisco enterprise networking.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain and optimise IT infrastructure for security, scalability and reliability.
• Manage and support the full O365 suite (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Administer and secure Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) incl. Conditional Access and SSO integrations.
• Implement and maintain Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and M365 security policies.

Your role as a Network Infrastructure Engineer at MyDentist

• The role is full-time and initially an 18-month fixed-term contract

• An additional role for the Infrastructure Team to support business growth

• The role can be a flexible hybrid role with our Support Centre based in Kearsley, M26 1GG

• You will benefit from free onsite parking, and Kearsley train station is just a short walk away

• With an on-site mini market shop and casual seating space inside and outside (for the sunnier days)

• Ideally you will have experience with Microsoft O365, Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), Cisco networking, Meraki networking and wireless technologies and Nutanix storage systems

Your future, your role

As a Network Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll be:

• Playing a key role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimising our IT infrastructure to ensure security, scalability, and reliability across our enterprise environment

• Managing and supporting the full O365 suite (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.)

• Administering and securing Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), including Conditional Access, Identity Governance, and SSO integrations

• Implementing and maintaining Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and M365 compliance/security policies

• Driving tenant configuration, license management, and service monitoring

• Participating in infrastructure-related projects from design to deployment

• Developing and maintaining documentation, standards, and best practices

You will have:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering or in a similar role

• Good knowledge of Microsoft O365 and Entra (Azure AD)

• Working knowledge of Cisco enterprise networking

• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Strong documentation and communication abilities

• Ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior team members

• Proven track record in securing and optimizing complex IT environments
