Job description

Role Title: Network Implementation Engineer

Duration: Contract until 29/09/2025

Location: Leeds, Fully Onsite

Rate: up to £506 p/d Umbrella, inside IR35

Clearance required: Active SC clearance

Key Skills / Requirements

• Support the delivery of new hardware, including asset tagging and storage, ready for deployment at data centres.
• Support installations, ensuring alignment with asset expiry schedules and timely upgrades.
• Experience with CISCO hardware, including Nexus switches (9000 series), Cisco Catalyst edge devices (8500, 9500), and CISCO WAN routing platforms.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN, high-density Ethernet connectivity, and network security features.
• Ability to support hardware swaps and upgrades, ensuring seamless deployment and operational continuity.

The hardware is provided by CISCO, and support resources should be market leaders in this domain, with CISCO-certified infrastructure teams ensuring smooth deployment.

Project Management & Governance

This project will be managed by the network teams within Infrastructure Services, following the client’s Change Approval Board (CAB) processes for oversight and governance.
