Role Title: Network Implementation Engineer

Duration: 29/09/2025

Rate: 492GBP/day Inside IR35

Role Description:

• Support the delivery of new hardware to data centres for asset tagging and storage, ready for deployment.
• Support installations and ensure they are aligned with asset expiry schedules, ensuring upgrades are executed in a timely and efficient manner.
• The selected hardware is provided by CISCO. Resources supporting these requirements should be market leaders in this domain, comparable to Microsoft in industry standing. Additionally, the client's infrastructure teams are CISCO-certified, further ensuring seamless deployment and operational continuity. The legacy hardware is CISCO, meaning a like-for-like swap out of units including:
• Cisco Nexus Switches (9000 series, various models) - to strengthen and protect the network with multispeed devices and integral analytics.
• Cisco Catalyst edge platform devices (8500, 9500) supporting software-defined WANs and secure cloud connectivity.
• Cisco WAN routing platforms with mandatory SD-WAN and routing subscriptions for device functionality.
• Cisco QSFP+ transceiver modules for high-density 40GB Ethernet connectivity in data centres.
• Additional memory and storage to support network traffic and flexible storage solutions.
• Additional licensing for switches and devices to enable device operation, secure connectivity, end-to-end visibility, analytics, and assurance.
