Job Summary

We seek a skilled Network Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in network infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance. A CCNA certification (or higher) obtained within the last 5 years is required. Knowledge of SD-WAN and SASE is highly desirable. This is a remote role with occasional travel and requires a full UK driving license.

Work hours are static: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (GMT/BST), Monday to Friday, with an on-call rota (1 week every 5 weeks) for out-of-hours support.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure ensuring high availability and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across various layers and platforms.
• Support and maintain cloud WAF.
• Perform routine network maintenance and upgrades.
• Collaborate with IT teams for seamless integration.
• Manage Meraki, Ubiquiti, and SASE solutions.
• Support incident resolution and documentation.
• Travel for on-site support when needed.
• Stay updated on emerging networking technologies.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Minimum 5 years in a network engineering role.
• Deep knowledge of networking protocols and wireless standards.
• CCNA or similar certification (within last 5 years).
• Understanding of SD-WAN and SASE.
• Experience with Cisco Meraki hardware.
• Proficiency in configuring network devices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Full UK driving license and ability to travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIA).
• Experience with cloud networking, automation, or security.
• Experience with Ubiquiti solutions.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
