Job Summary

Seeking a Network Engineer with 5+ years of experience, CCNA certification (or higher), and knowledge of network protocols, wireless, SD-WAN, and SASE. This is a remote role with occasional travel. Full UK driving license required.

Work hours are 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (GMT/BST), Monday to Friday, with an on-call rota (1 week every 5 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot network issues across layers and platforms.
• Support and maintain cloud WAF.
• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patches.
• Collaborate with IT teams for seamless integration.
• Manage Meraki, Ubiquiti, and SASE solutions.
• Support incident resolution and document configurations.
• Travel for on-site support and installations.
• Stay updated with industry trends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in network engineering.
• Knowledge of Ethernet, IP, TCP/IP, BGP, WPA3, Wi-Fi 6E/7.
• Current CCNA or higher certification.
• Understanding of SD-WAN and SASE.
• Experience with Cisco Meraki.
• Proficiency with network devices.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely and manage time.
• Full UK driving license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications (CCNP, JNCIA).
• Experience with cloud networking and automation.
• Experience with Ubiquiti solutions.
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools.
