Job Summary

We seek a Network Engineer with at least 5 years of experience, CCNA (or higher) certification, and knowledge of network protocols, wireless protocols, SD-WAN, and SASE. This is a remote role with occasional travel and a full UK driving license. Working hours are 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (GMT/BST), Monday to Friday, with an on-call rota.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot network issues across various layers and platforms
• Support and maintain cloud WAF
• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patches
• Collaborate with IT teams for system integration
• Implement Meraki, Ubiquiti, and SASE solutions
• Support incident resolution and maintain documentation
• Travel for on-site support as needed
• Stay updated on industry trends

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years in network engineering
• Experience with Layer 2-4 protocols and wireless protocols
• CCNA or higher certification
• Knowledge of SD-WAN and SASE
• Experience with Cisco Meraki
• Proficiency in configuring network devices
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work remotely and manage time
• Full UK driving license and ability to travel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIA)
• Experience with cloud networking, automation, security, Ubiquiti solutions
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools
