Job summary

CGI seeks a Network Engineer to design and deliver secure, resilient network solutions across hybrid environments, including on-premises and cloud platforms. You will work with clients, partners and expert teams to ensure reliability, security and compliance in mission-critical systems.

• Strong experience in network engineering within enterprise or secure environments.
• Proven experience in network engineering.
• Solid understanding of routing and switching technologies.
• Solid understanding of network security principles.
• Experience with cloud networking.
• Experience in network monitoring and performance management.
• Proven ability in troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (desirable).
• Experience with firewalls, security appliances or network automation (advantageous).
• Understanding of secure environments and compliance requirements (advantageous).

Position Description

As a Network Engineer, you will enable high‑performance, secure connectivity across complex environments, ensuring reliability and compliance. The Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator. Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This position will be based on site near Gloucester or in Central London 5 days a week.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• You should have strong experience in network engineering within enterprise or secure environments, with a solid understanding of routing, switching and security principles. Experience supporting cloud-integrated networks and resolving complex issues is essential.
