Job summary

CGI is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement and support secure network infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments, ensuring high performance, resilience and security. Based on site near Gloucester or in Central London, you will own routing, switching and security across hybrid environments.

You will work with clients, partners and engineering teams to deliver reliable connectivity, monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents and continuously improve network solutions

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This position will be based on site near Gloucester or in Central London 5 days a week.

Candidate Profile

In this role, you will design, implement and support secure network infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments, ensuring high levels of performance, resilience and security.

You will take ownership of network services across routing, switching and security, supporting both project delivery and operational activities within complex, secure environments.

Working closely with engineering teams and partners, you will help deliver reliable and scalable connectivity solutions, applying innovative approaches while being supported by experienced colleagues and a collaborative culture that encourages continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

You should have strong experience in network engineering within enterprise or secure environments, with a solid understanding of routing, switching and security principles. Experience supporting cloud-integrated networks and resolving complex issues is essential.
