Excellent opportunity for a Network Engineer with 2-8 years of experience to join a top-rated bank and upskill into a fully-fledged Network Engineer in a Low Latency and High Frequency Trading environment.

Ideally CCNA certified.

You will be given the opportunity to learn broad areas of Banking including Cisco, Voice, Market Data, Turrets & Projects. You will learn:

• Cisco and Arista routing and L2/L3 Switches, and Checkpoint and Fortinet Firewall technologies, including configuration and troubleshooting across different hardware platforms
• Market Data (Bloomberg/Refinitiv/EBS, ICAP), IPC Turrets
• Planning and implementing voice and data network upgrades, including risk analysis, security, business analysis, development, support, and documentation of solutions
• Integrating automated processes where relevant and appropriate
• Managing and troubleshooting Europe office Wi-Fi (Cisco Meraki)
• Managing and troubleshooting Europe office IPTV, AV, and meeting rooms
• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco/Arista Routers and Switches, and Check Point Firewalls and proxies
• Exposure to L2 switching/L3 routing technologies, such as STP/MST/HSRP/VRRP/IPSec/GRE/EIGRP/OSPF/BGP
• Experience with QoS, IPSec VPN, and Network Management systems (SNMP, Solarwinds)
• Proven background in technical infrastructure and troubleshooting, with 2+ years of Network Engineering experience
• Excellent organization and communication skills, autonomy, team working capability, and motivation to learn new skills and stay updated with new technologies
