Job summary

Test Triangle seeks a highly skilled Network Engineer to manage and optimize complex Cisco-based networks in a hybrid OT/IT environment. You will design, implement, and secure SDA fabric solutions and SD-WAN architectures, while integrating automation with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong scripting and troubleshooting across layers 2-7 are required. Applicants should have hands-on experience with OT protocols and industrial cybersecurity standards, plus familiarity with ISE, NSO, and

Qualifications

• Experience with Cisco Catalyst switching (IOS-XE) and VLANs, STP/RSTP, port security, QoS.
• Hands-on with Cisco SD-WAN/Catalyst SD-WAN; policy templates, VPN segmentation, WAN edge config.
• Experience with Cisco SD-Access fabric design, commissioning, operations.
• Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst Centre for device management, assurance, and automation workflows.
• Understanding of OT network architecture including IT/OT DMZ design.
• Familiarity with OT protocols: Modbus, DNP3, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, IEC 61850, OPC-UA.
• Experience writing Terraform configurations for infrastructure provisioning.
• Exposure to CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent).
• Scripting proficiency in Python and/or Bash for network automation tasks.
• Strong troubleshooting across Layers 2-7.
• Experience with Cisco ISE for AAA, profiling, and TrustSec.
• Knowledge of Ansible or Terraform for network configuration management.
• Familiarity with NSO or RESTCONF/NETCONF interfaces.
• Exposure to IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, or NIS2 cybersecurity frameworks.
• Experience with SCADA/ICS systems (Ignition, Wonderware, Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell FactoryTalk).
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
