Senior Network Engineer - Incident Response & Automation

Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced network operations specialist to own escalation for critical incidents and provide analytics for major events within the enterprise network. You will manage and evolve network management tooling and platforms, helping to deliver new capabilities for the Support organisation.

Qualifications

• CCNP level or equivalent certification.
• Extensive experience in a Support and Operations environment.
• Proven experience delivering and operating network management platforms (e.g., NetBrain, SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center).
• Experience with automation frameworks (Scripting, Python, Ansible, REST APIs).
• Extensive knowledge of Enterprise networking technologies including Firewalls, Load Balancers, Switching and Routing Fabrics.

Requirements

• Qualified to Cisco CCNP level or equivalent
• Extensive experience of working in a Support and Operations environment
• Proven experience of delivering and running network management platforms (e.g. Netbrain, Solarwinds, Cisco DNA centre etc.)
• Experience with automation frameworks (Scripting, Python, Ansible, REST APIs)
• Extensive knowledge of all Enterprise networking technologies including Firewalls (Palo Alto / Cisco ASA), Load Balancers (F5), Switching and Routing Fabrics (EVPN/ACI/IOS-XE)
