Job summary

Infinity Quest is seeking a seasoned network professional in Cambridge to manage and optimize complex hybrid networks. The role emphasizes hands-on work with NetBox/Nautobot/IP Fabric and automation tooling, aligning with global teams and suppliers.

Applicants should demonstrate strong routing/switching knowledge, network security fundamentals and experience in observability platforms. Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE or JNCIS/JNCIP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with NetBox, Nautobot, IP Fabric, Auvik, SolarWinds or Infoblox.
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, WAN/LAN, SD-WAN and network security fundamentals.
• Practical capability in Python, Ansible and REST APIs. Experience with Terraform, PowerShell and Git/GitHub is desirable.
• Experience with network monitoring or observability platforms such as netbox, SolarWinds, Auvik, IP Fabric, LogicMonitor, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor or Grafana.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving capability on data.
• Experience working with global teams, suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Continuous-improvement mindset with a strong focus on automation and operational excellence.
• Cisco CCNP or CCIE; Juniper JNCIS or JNCIP.
• AWS Advanced Networking Specialty or relevant cloud-networking certification.
• Relevant NetBox, automation, Python or infrastructure-as-code certification.

Job description

Network Source of Truth, IRM, IPAM & DCIM

Hands-on experience with one or more of: NetBox, Nautobot, IP Fabric, Auvik, SolarWinds, Device42 or Infoblox.

Core Networking

Strong knowledge of routing and switching, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, WAN/LAN, SD-WAN and network security fundamentals.

Automation

Practical capability in Python, Ansible and REST APIs. Experience with Terraform, PowerShell and Git/GitHub is desirable.

Monitoring & Observability

Experience with network monitoring or observability platforms such as netbox, SolarWinds, Auvik, IP Fabric, LogicMonitor, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor or Grafana.
