As a DJSC 3rd Line Senior Network Engineer you will contribute to this by joining a multi-skilled, multi-disciplinary team working collaboratively across multiple services within a shared Environment.

Your role will involve:

1. Providing operational support to a large enterprise network that runs 24/7 across two data centres and remote offices throughout the UK.
2. Collaborating with the rest of the team to maintain on premise networks to support BAU activities.
3. Performing network configuration changes and upgrades.
4. Liaising with third parties and other internal teams as well as our end customer.
5. Being involved in project-based work, working closely with the project delivery team.
6. Providing technical direction and mentoring to the 2nd line network team.

Your transferable skills and experience:

1. Solid understanding and working knowledge of core routing and switching at CCNA/CCNP level.
2. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting enterprise networks.
3. Solid understanding of IP routing (BGP, OSPF, static routing, HSRP, VRF, tunneling protocols).
4. Solid understanding of Layer 2 technologies (VLANs, port-security, 802.1X, spanning-tree).
5. Experience with firewalls - Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA and related features (ASDM, ACLs, IPSEC VPNs).
6. Experience working with Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco Nexus switches, Cisco ISR and ASR routers, and Cisco ISE.
7. Understanding of network-level encryption.
8. Strong experience with Juniper leaves spines and switches.
9. F5 Load Balancers.
10. Cisco ISE Appliance.
11. Catapans.
