Job summary

Stagecoach West Head Office, Gloucester, is seeking a Network Development Manager to shape bus network planning and performance. You will lead timetables, rosters, and commercial improvements while guiding a team of Commercial Officers and collaborating with operations, finance, marketing and digital.

You will apply customer insight and performance data to drive reliable, efficient services that meet community needs and deliver strong commercial results.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and scheduling of the bus network, including timetables, driver duties and rosters.
• Use data to identify opportunities to improve services and commercial performance.
• Monitor commercial metrics, spot trends, risks and opportunities, and act on insights.
• Prepare costings and bids for contracted services.
• Ensure network plans are practical and delivered with operational teams.
• Build relationships with depot teams, local stakeholders and unions.
• Collaborate with marketing and digital to boost customer acquisition and engagement.
• Lead and develop Commercial Officers to create a high-performing team.
• Support the Commercial Director and represent the team at meetings.

SalarySalary - £45,000 - £50,000We’re looking for a Network Development Manager to help shape how our bus network develops and performs across Stagecoach West. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you’ll lead our approach to network planning and scheduling, using customer insight, performance data and strong commercial judgement to make sure our services are reliable, efficient and designed around the needs of the communities we serve.You’ll also lead and develop a team of Commercial Officers and work closely with colleagues across operations, finance, marketing and digital to turn ideas and opportunities into practical, deliverable improvements.
