Job summary

Pro-Connexions in Birmingham seeks a Network Design Consultant to design, implement and commission network solutions with a strong Fortinet focus and Cisco integration. The role is hybrid with some travel to client sites.

You will lead architecture creation, drive technical decision making and act as escalation point for complex Fortinet deployments. Expect 3–5 years of enterprise Fortinet project experience, with skills in high-level and low-level design, documentation, and stakeholder

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience leading Fortinet projects end to end.
• Ability to design, document and sign off architectural deliverables (HLD/LLD).
• Strong problem solving and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and commission LAN/WAN and security solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot site-to-site VPNs and next‑gen firewalls.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural sign-off for projects.

Network Design Consultant

Based Birmingham B90. Salary: £65-£70k + Benefits. Location: Hybrid / some travel to client sites. Network Design Consultant / Network Design & Delivery Engineer needed to be responsible for designing, implementing and commissioning network solutions to our customers, with a heavy bias towards designs which utilise Fortinet technologies SD- WAN Fortinet, Forti Manager, Forti Authenticator, as well as other manufactures is essential, like Cisco. Must be able to become SC Cleared. Successful Network Design Consultant / Network Design & Delivery Engineer would have roughly 3-5 years expertise experience with leading enterprise customer Fortinet projects end to end, HLD, LLD as well as being technical Lead / Escalation point, whilst being responsible for the Architectural Document sign off. As Network Design Consultant / Network Design & Delivery Engineer you ll be responsible for designing, configuring & troubleshooting LAN, WAN, Security solutions, including Next Generations Firewalls, site to site VPN s and preferably Fortinet Firewalls. Successful Network Design Consultant / Network Design & Delivery Engineer would naturally strong documentation, excellent problem solving & stakeholder management skills, a growth mindset, with emotional intelligence, flexible in their approach and a dive to add value to projects.
