Qualifications

• Solid Fortinet firewall background, FortiGate design, implementation, and support in enterprise environments.
• Palo Alto experience, NGFW configuration and management, Panorama a strong plus.
• Strong network security fundamentals, firewall policy, VPN, segmentation, and threat management.
• Someone on the way up, strong foundations, driven to develop, and ready to take on more responsibility.
• Comfortable working independently and remotely, you manage your own time and deliver without hand‑holding.
• Confident enough to support pre‑sales conversations and customer‑facing engagements.
• Fortinet NSE or Palo Alto PCNSE certifications beneficial, any held will be built on, all training and certs funded going forward.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Fortinet and Palo Alto firewall solutions across complex enterprise environments (60% of the role).
• Provide 3rd line escalation support across the security estate (20%).
• Support pre‑sales engagements, technical scoping, customer conversations, and solution positioning (10%).
• Produce high-quality technical designs and documentation to support delivery.
• Travel to customer sites across the UK when projects and engagements require it.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Fortinet and Palo Alto firewall solutions across complex enterprise environments (60% of the role)
