  • Ensuring that all DMA renewal schemes are delivered to ST high quality standards whilst adhering to company ODI targets.
  • Overseeing and supporting contractors and other external stakeholders on site.

This role requires a 42-hour work week, Monday to Friday, starting at 7:30 AM and ending at 4:30 PM, with a half-hour early finish at 4:00 PM on Fridays.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure CDM compliance on site, responsible for the health, safety, and well-being of team members, site visitors, contractors, and members of the public, in accordance with CDM regulations.

  • Actively managing any impacts, depending on the activity being carried out, including impacts on the wider organisation, customers, external businesses and organisations (e.g. blocked roads, traffic management, bursts, supply interruptions etc.) and deliver the construction work to a planned budget.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

You’ll have the ability to demonstrate awareness and practical experience of CDM Regulations, identify risks & opportunities, and be trained in Utility Avoidance and Location, Thrust Boring, Safe Digging, and 360 Excavator below 10T. You also have completed all NRSWA modules.

Additionally, knowledge and understanding of Mains Renewal processes, options, and associated risks, ability to work effectively and efficiently in a high-pressure environment, make prompt clear decisions, have excellent communication skills, and have experience of coordinating activities and supporting a team, preferably in a construction environment.

As travel is required, you’ll also need to hold a full U.K driving license.
