G-Research, based in London, is building a world-class platform to amplify researchers and engineers. The Colo Infrastructure team designs automation that enables rapid provisioning and reliable operations.

This role focuses on network automation at scale, using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD, plus observability, on-call duties, and collaboration with security and platform teams.

Formación

• Strong Python engineering fundamentals and CI/CD experience.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools like Ansible, Terraform and Jinja2.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes; exposure to observability tools.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and collaborate with fast-paced teams.

Responsabilidades

• Build and evolve automation frameworks for network provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using Python, Ansible, Terraform and Jinja2.
• Integrate network automation into CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Create APIs and self-service tooling for engineering teams.
• Implement observability and telemetry for performance and reliability.
• Partner with network, platform and security teams to deliver resilient systems.
• Contribute to incident response and production reliability.
• On-call responsibilities for critical infrastructure.
