You will lead the Core Infrastructure Engineering team, guiding technical direction while delivering reliable, automated services that underpin the firm’s research platform.

The role emphasizes leadership-first responsibilities with meaningful technical involvement, focusing on people development, incident management and scalable automation

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing infrastructure or platform teams.
• Strong background in Windows and Linux infrastructure.
• Experience with CI platforms, IaC and automation.
• Ability to balance people management with technical decisions and stakeholder communication.
• Experience improving incident management, change control and on-call practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and grow a team of infrastructure engineers.
• Set technical direction and priorities across the portfolio.
• Drive infrastructure as code adoption and AI-driven management.
• Ensure availability, performance and operational health of core services.
• Act as escalation point for incidents and service issues.
• Balance delivery with long-term automation initiatives.
• Hire, onboard and develop new team members.
• Represent the team's roadmap to stakeholders across the business.
• Remove blockers and enable effective delivery.
• Deliver robust, scalable automation solutions.
• Improve engineering processes, documentation and standards across the team.
