Location: Leicester or Hursley - onsite

Network Architect

Active SC clearance required

Inside IR35

• Network Architect for on-premises critical national infrastructure solution leading a mix of network new build, tech refresh, and live service activities
• Working with networking infrastructure including Cisco switches, firewalls, routers, ISE, F5 load-balancers, Juniper SRX, and SolarWinds monitoring
• Knowledge of a wide range of networking concepts and technologies including:
• IPSec - site to site
• Layer 2 e.g. STP, VPC, VLAN, OTV
• Layer 3 e.g. IP, VRF, OSPF, QoS, IDS, HSRP, GRE
• F5 LTM, Big DNS (GTM)
• CCNP level understanding
• Documenting solutions into HLDs and LLDs as well as overseeing the overall network configuration management
• Providing Networking leadership within the organisation and for the client when required
• Evaluating Networking technology choices to address client requirements
• Promoting best practices, standardisation, security, policies, and automation
• Good communicator, able to communicate to deeply technical and non-technical audiences
• A good coach and mentor to the wider networks team
